Pop Culture

In addition to adorable children and pets, I also paint icons from Pop Culture!

Everyone has their most loved musician, 80′s TV star obsession, or beloved character from that all time favorite cult movie. I love to honor these icons of the past in fully rendered portraits.

Unfortunately, this is only a partial gallery of the work I’ve done over the years. Here are a few paintings I have photos of…

*****

This painting was commissioned by the parents of a little girl who LOVES the movie “Babe”, which she likes to watch again and again.

I hear she loves the portrait…almost as much as the movie.

I thought I’d include one from waaayyy back.  Here’s a pencil sketch of Johnny Cash.

Thanks for taking a look in the Pop Culture section!  These are some of my favorite portraits to paint.

I Hope to gather more pics (from private collections) of my other paintings to show.  Stay tuned!

If you have a quirky idea for an original portrait of your favorite pop culture icon, we need to talk!  By the way, these make the BEST presents.
